M2.1 - FMP Preparation

To address the environmental challenges of TPU production, the study explores the recycling of used skateboard wheels and 3D-printed waste as raw material granule. Employing a Research-through-Design (RtD) methodology, the project emphasises active experimentation, reflective practice, and iterative adjustments to optimise the design and manufacturing process, embracing the Material-driven-design way. Collaborative co-design sessions provided valuable interdisciplinary insights, validating the workflow's potential for broader adoption.
